As the bride, you need to know who you can count on with complete confidence that what needs to be done will in fact get done. When selecting your bridal party, consider if the role you’re intending for them suits their personality.
Choose roles that would accentuate their strengths in what will help you during this process and on your wedding day. For example, when choosing your Maid/Matron of Honor, you know that your best friend has great management and organizational skills while your sister, although helpful and a people person, isn’t reliable…choose your best friend. Your sister doesn’t automatically need to fit the role of Maid/Matron of Honor just because tradition may say so. You need to pick according to what will prevent the most stress.

Also, this honor doesn’t have to be extended to a woman as a matter of fact. HE can do just as great a job as a SHE can. The bridal party and their roles can be whatever you want it to be.
